革新的な技術は一つじゃないハズ

最近、http://getupenglish.blog.ocn.ne.jp/getupenglish/ というサイトを毎朝見て、なるべく音読すようにしている。
毎日アップされている文量が、朝にちょっとだけ読むのにちょうどいいのです。
で、今朝も読んでみたのだが、なんかちょっと引っかかった。

"Every year there seems to be significant innovation in computers."
"That's right, Mr. Apple. But not all innovation is necessarily good."

"innovation" は、"innovations" と複数形にしたほうが自然に思える。
特に2つ目の文は、"all innovation" って、英語の文法的にもこれで正しいのだろうか？
Extra Example の方も話の内容からして、"innovative technologies" のほうがしっくりくる。

"Innovative technology really helps the economy, doesn't it, Mr. Apple."
"Yes, it does, Mr. Gateball. But not all so-called innovative technology is really innovative."

世の中に革新的な技術はたくさんあるに決まっている、という技術屋的な思い込みというか考え方がそういう風に感じさせるのだろうか。
